The impact of elevator vibration and noise pollution on people’s daily life and work has been widely concerned by the community. Elevator manufacturers usually set rubber vibration damping mats between the base of the traction machine and the load-bearing beam to alleviate the transmission of vibration and noise, instead of using rigid welding or bolt connection to reduce the transmission of vibration through the traction machine base to the load-bearing beam and the building structure.
When the elevator is in operation, especially when it starts and stops, due to the gravity of the elevator itself and the load bearing, as well as the vibration caused by the traction machine and other power devices, it usually makes the vibration damping design of the elevator indispensable, and the vibration and noise will be transmitted to the load bearing beam and the building itself through the traction machine seat, and it will also reduce the comfort of the elevator, which will have a great impact on people’s life. In the current vibration damping, people mostly use rectangular or similar shaped vibration damping rubber mats for vibration damping, and rubber mats are used for soft connection between the traction machine seat and the load-bearing beam. The rubber damping mats are solid rubber blocks with friction inside the rubber and large critical damping, so strong resonance rarely occurs and can absorb and consume vibration energy. The rubber damping pad is connected to the traction machine and the load bearing beam through standard structural members, which is safe, reliable and does not produce excessive vibration and does not affect the load bearing beam and the building structure.
